You are His beloved child. He does not turn His back on you every time you sin. He has ALREADY forgiven you, even before you ask and accept his forgiveness. Therefore you do not need to fear. God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind! (2 Tim 1:7) It is already a fact. God sees us through Jesus blood. He loves us IN the beloved Son. Ellen White tells us we are not to worry about what God thinks of us, but of what God thinks of Jesus!
The thief cannot break into the house unless he first bind the strong man of the house. Do not allow Satan to bind your strong man of joy in the Lord. When temptation comes, say aloud "In the name of Jesus I rebuke and bind any evil force trying to get me to do this sin. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world."
If you live in the midst of evil - ask God to deliver you to a place of safety.
If you eat and drink what the world does, ask God to give you only that which is pure, clean,
simple, and healthful to your body. He has promised wisdom if you ask. Ask.
If you watch, read, or play what the world considers to be "fun", ask God to make you hate the things you loved and love His Word and Presence instead.

P...I need a prayer sent out for ladies in the Jail
in Lawrence co. they are not treated with respect of being women or have the
same rights as men that are in there. Please send it for the world to be praying
that they don't get worse on them but that the Lord would have them be treated
fair and as men do there clothes cook and go outside at least once a week. Not
being called names and watched and treated worse by those working then what
crime they committed. Prayer I told them is what will change it all. (9/5/07)

Carol...Someone has said that, if Christians really understood the full extent
of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. In W.W.II
there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped
what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour for one minute to
collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace. There is now
a group of people organizing the same thing here in America. If you would like
to participate: Every evening at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central) (6:00 PM
Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the
safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens and for a return to a
Godly nation. If you know anyone else who would like to participate, please pass
this along. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have. Together, we "CAN"
make a difference!

There is a man who bought land next to our Herghelia Sanitarium. He has 500
sheep and many dogs and is planning on building a new sheepfold as well as
cheese and milk factory. This already has impacted our programs with our
patients. They are afraid of the dogs and it has limited where they are able to
walk and enjoy the lovely landscape. Please pray that an agreement can be
reached as the man seems to be indicating the possibility of selling his land to
us here at Herghelia. May God provide in His own way and time. Thanks

My granddaughter Emily who is in Germany and is pregnant has just heard that
there may be a chance for her husband Mike to stay in Germany until Sept 28,
even though his company is deploying to Iraq in July. This is because she will
be having their baby the end of June. The commanding officer may decide to let
new fathers stay back so they can spend time with their wives and babies. Emily
has asked for prayer that he will be allowed this additional time with her and

Zouhdi Derhali, husband of Anelda Derhali, suffered a massive stroke Tuesday
morning and passed away Tuesday afternoon. A funeral is being planned for
Sabbath with the time to follow shortly. Please pray for Anelda and her family

This is an update on the condition of Harry Dexter’s brother, Roy. It appears to
have been a staph infection of the blood but he is home from the hospital now

Matt who is about 45 years old, discovered about 2-3 months ago that he has a
very enlarged heart because of a birth defect of only one aorta. His poor heart
has been working overtime for all these years. Pray for a heart for a

For the last couple of weeks Roger has not been feeling well. He has had no
energy, feels very weak, dizzy, head rushes, basically washed out and sleeping
about 18 hours a day. He has been diagnosed with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia. In
simple terms ~ his bone marrow is producing enough red blood cells, but his body
is destroying them. Carol

test. He is trying to get off of Prednisone now.)
Here is the prayer request for my friend. His name is Cecil Wilkinson and his
wife is Ann. Cecil and Ann live in Harrisburg, NC and have been actively
involved in Mission trips and spreading the gospel to everyone they meet. Two
weeks before he was to preach a sermon God had him prepare he was diagnosed with
the Glioblastoma. He is determined to still share the gospel even while battling
this cancer. He is undergoing Chemo and Radiation Therapy in addition to being
on steroids to control the swelling in the brain. Please pray for him, Holly

for the grass cutting of our school
we would rreally appreciate it. We are in desperate need since all the large
lawn area is being cut by hand and we need to spend this time doing more

in Romania. We are now in the revival for the sanitarium and also the school it

WE HEARD ON THE TV THAT THERE HAD BEEN A DOUBLE SHOOTING IN GRAND RONDE THE NAME
WAS WRIGHT AND THEY LIVED ON RIGGS RD. I JUST NOW CALLED ESTEL WRIGHT AND HE
SAID IT WAS HIS SON AND GRANDSON. ALCOHOL WAS INVOLVED. THE GRANDSON IS OUT OF
THE HOSPITAL BUT HE SAID HIS SON JIM WILL NEED SURGERIES AND A METAL PLATE AND
OTHER STUFF. HE WILL BE IN THE HOSP. APPROX 3 WEEKS. HE WAS LIFE FLIGHTED TO
PORTLAND. THE FAMILY IS ASKING FOR PRAYER FOR JIM AND FOR ALL OF THE FAMILY.
THIS HAS BEEN A HUGE SHOCK. ESTEL AND GLENAS ARE PRAYING FOR HEALING AND PEACE

About 5:30 yesterday morning (Tuesday, June 3), 21-year-old Corey Myers fell
asleep at the wheel of his vehicle on the way home from working all night. The
truck veered off the road into a telephone pole, and rolled. When one of his
mother's coworkers found him half an hour later, the vehicle was still running.
The air bag was still deployed, and Corey could not turn it off. He was
airlifted to the hospital (Erlanger, in Chattanooga, I assume) and underwent
surgery yesterday afternoon. At this point, he is still paralyzed from the waist
down; there is some hope that, as swelling resides, some to all of the movement
will return. Corey's mom works with the mother of the two children I tutor; she
was stuck behind the accident (on Blue Springs Road, a little south of the
Bypass) yesterday morning. I had to go get the kids so she would be on time to
work. She didn't know who the victim was until she got to work. She told me
about it when she picked Caven and Emily up later in the day. Corey's parents
are Mike and Glenda Myers (Meyers??). They are not Adventists. It really shook
everyone at Glenda's work up. I know they would appreciate our prayers. Emily
will be at Girl Scout Camp next week, so I won't know any more until a week from
Monday. I'll update you as I get more information. Kathy

My M.D. is retiring. My medical records are in his clinic @ $1.00 a page to get
a copy. I would like to leave this clinic and find a M.D. with openness to
Alternative Medicine. This clinic owns most hospital equipment. MRI's etc.
Stress tests etc. They pay for the clinic by tests I fear. I will sone have
blood work 3 times in 1 month. Please pray I can find a Dr. here to help me

Angela: had surgery for breast cancer; since then she’s been hearing voices that
have talked her into chain smoking, drinking excessively, and convincing her she
must commit suicide; she doesn’t know Jesus or the war for her soul; a friend
has asked that we pray a wall of protection around her and intercede for her
freedom.
Your prayers for the availability of transplant organs for the grandaughter of
my sister have been answered. She received a pancreas and kidney today,
apparently successful. Your prayers for a speedy recovery will also be

Mike just got news at work that they are splitting up his company and sending
some of them to Balad, but most of them are being sent to little FOB's(forward
operating bases) in the middle of the desert. I was worried before about him
going to Iraq, but I wasn't afraid for him or his life until I heard this news.
I am so scared for him, and he is too. Please pray that he doesn't get picked to
leave Balad and go to one of these little camps. They have no electricity so we
would bairly get to contact eachother, they usually are the camps you hear about
getting blown up. I just feel my stress level sky rocketing since 5 minutes ago
when he got home. I mean the chances of him going to Balad are SO low now.

dear friend, Per Wikström regarding a young mother, his daughter-in-law, Annika
Wikström, the wife of his son, who has just entered chemotherapy treatment for

Just wanted you to know that Fred had three stints put in his main heart chamber
instead of two like the Dr. first thought. The Dr. said the surgery was very
difficult, but praise God he made it through! Fred has to go back in three
months for another stress test and if he doesn't pass it, they will have to do
some more work. Fred is able to work part time because of the kind of work he
does, but he has to get up and walk around some and drink alot of water. Thanks

mother--ovarian cancer stage 2. Tina has just received the highest award given

vegan educational system and hospital food system in a large non-religious

There has been a terrible accident here for me with the stove and I covet your
prayers on my behalf. A pressure cooker exploded on (mostly my face) as I was
trying to open it. Mike and I have prayed and we must have faith for it to be
answered, however, we still need the intervention of God's people with earnest
prayer when we are in trouble. I'm dealing with 50% of my face, from the nose
down (including inside the nose ). My eyes were spared , except for all around 1
eye, and my forehead is normal. I'm praying I can work diligently (mostly with
tea fomentations) and get all the fire out as it is coming up on 48 hrs now.

At 11:15 PM, June 24th Annette Christian passed away. Angie and I received a
call from Jay at 11:40 PM. Cari, Jay, and Jay's daughter, Jodi were there when
Annette passed. Angie and I were with them until 2:30 AM. The funeral home
attendants came to the home shortly before 2 AM. After we have a short bedside
service we escorted the funeral directors as they carried Annette's body to the
vehicle. It was a bitter-sweet night as we shared thoughts, read the Bible,
prayed together, and thanked the Lord for the blessed hope. Jay, Cari, and Jodi
will need your prayers. Due to the long night they will be sleeping in a little
before they go to the funeral home on Wednesday. Thanks to all of you who prayed
and supported the Christians' in so many ways. You are greatly appreciated. Jay

Many thanks to all of you have who have prayed for Mike from Portugal. He came
for the Wildwood graduation and spent one month with Mom and me. I had started
Bible Studies with him a over a year ago. We spent about 4 hours a day studying
most of the first three weeks he was here. Last Sabbath he was baptized and is
now a member of our Benton SDA church. This is a real miracle and God has given
him the gift of intercessory prayer. We spent one to two hours a day praying
together. Mike had been a tattoo artist and after our studying the Word last
year, he went back to Portugal and closed his shop and has been painting signs
and gardening for a living. This has been a dramatic experience and he has
really learned to trust in the Lord. God has now restored his
relationship with Iris who became an SDA about 4 years ago. They are in a
courting relationship and ask for your prayers for God's guidance in all their

is so good to us. We work in team of 6 people in this LIGHT 1 month school

we have some difficulties to prepare fruits for the next schools, so please pray

Michael is our new believer babtized Oct last year. He is suffering Demons since
then, he can't utter the name of GOD or JESUS during prayer time, sometimes he
feel extraordinary sides headache ,neck and cant turn any side,he going weaker.

My cousin Jack (67) is in the hospital with a blocked bile duct and had a
cancerous tumor taken from the colon. He is unable to eat but is trusting in the
Lord. Please pray for God's healing in his life, for his wife, Joyce and their
children and grandchildren. He is the back bone of the larger family clan...he

taken to a hospital on another army base because of a very high bilirubin level.
His jaundice is not going down. She had to drive him to the hospital and right
now I don't know what the status is because I can't get in touch with her. She
has been very sick since the delivery..one of her eyes can't focus and she has
blurred vision. Her husband Mike doesn't have a German driver's license so she
has to do all the driving as sick as she is. Please ask God to intervene in this
situation and heal Tristan and Emily. Pray for Him to draw close to her and send
the Holy Spirit to her and the angels to give her comfort and peace. Mike is
leaving in 2 weeks or less for Iraq. The military won't tell them exactly when
and so that is hanging over their heads. I am begging God to help her. The

Please include in your prayer our family situations. We want our kids to be in
the Christian school but we are financially hard up and the tuition had
increased almost doubled this year. Please pray that God will make a way for us
that our kids will still be in the Christian school this school year in spite of
the financial crisis we are facing. I know God is the source of everything. I

school teacher for 16 years and due to transfer of residence I am out of work

I am starting a signing for my son's best friend who has cancer (Hodgkin's
Lymphoma). He is 11 years old and is not doing well at all. He was diagnosed
with this cancer 2 weeks ago and the tumor is next to his jugular vein and
entwined in it...has moved his wind pipe over a inch making it hard for him to
breathe. The tumor is the size of a large eggplant and is sitting right above
his heart. This little boy needs all the prayer he can get. Peggy
