☺MINUTEMAN TRIP TO HAITI - 4/8/08
- 4/28/08
The phone rang Monday morning, March 31, 2008, and
Elder Mauri Bascom from The Quiet Hour was calling to ask us if
we would be able to fill a sudden opening due to illness in the
upcoming ShareHim evangelism in Haiti, April 11-26. We thought
about it for about two seconds and said YES! Good thing we had
put God in charge of our lives today!
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS MISSION TRIP - GOD

GOD'S BABIES - MORE INFO AND
FINAL GOAL
The state of God's Babies residence is continuing to hold hearings to try to
overhaul its child protective system. Last fall, you may remember,
the parents were asked to testify in regards to families not having to
repay the state for their children's care when the allegations prove
to be false. This was PASSED!
Then they asked the parents of God's Babies to again testify
before their committee that was considering passing legislation
allowing parents the right to take their child/children to a doctor
of their choice to examine allegations made by the state - BEFORE
having to hand their children over to the state. This would be a
great step forward in helping to eliminate the possible 50% rate of
unfounded allegations and takings in that state. We thank the Lord
this was not only discussed, but PASSED.
We also want to thank you again for having given generously to help
reunite this family and help them to get out from under their
life-altering burden of debt from this situation.
There is still a
$5,000 debt outstanding to the very competent attorney that by the
grace of God helped to vindicate these young parents
PLUS the State again charged
them $1,600 more in 2007 for taking their children in 2005. Remember, they
lost their home, their job, and their children all within a week! They have struggled to rebuild their lives
since that time. We praise God for returning
their children to them and pray that He will heal all their wounds
and draw them ever closer to Him. Continue to pray for them as the
state is still trying to lay burdens on this family!
We are praising the Lord and praying for just another $5,000 to finish
paying the attorney who helped to rescue God's babies from the false
accusations and restore them to their family. The family is reunited
and healing, but we do need to continue to assist until this final
debt is eliminated. What ever amount you can donate will be
appreciated. Please do not donate through this on-line donation
button, but mail to:

printed in the Oregonian newspaper on September 30, 2006.

MFM Attends The Sixth Union-Wide Convention Pastor Charles Tidwell <
charles.h.tidwell@gte.net >
April 10, 2008; By---Saw Thein
Myanmar Union Mission of Seventh-day Adventist celebrated the sixth
union-wide convention in Pyin Oo Lwin, Upper Myanmar Mission. The
delegates from different parts of Myanmar occupied full of the
mission compound and Karany Baptist Church compound. March 26 was
the attendance registration and at evening in the opening program,
all delegates marching under their missions and departments. Daily
spiritual we have received, base on the heading of Tell the World:
Signs of Hope. We had have very powerful sermons messages delivered
by union leaders such as U Tun Gyi(Layman), Pr. U Montana Paul
(Retired), Pr. U Thein Shwe( Retired), Pr. U Ba Hla Thein(Retired),
Pr. U Yan Aye(Retired), Pr. U Muller Kyaw, Pr. Memory Tun and guest
speaker Pr. Biak Chhawna(Health & Publishing Director) from Mezoran
Conference.
In the meeting my soul was filled with something. My heart is
crying. I could see so many hungry souls that reflected on their
faces around me. I could hear voices from many thirsty souls. How
great amazing shall be like the day of salvation. We had praying for
coming of the Holy Spirit, the later rain. We’ve met many old and
new friends. I felt that as the same may at the resurrection morning
shall we be met our love ones. Tahan’s powerful choir ---Hallelujah
Chorus was I like the best among all the special numbers.
“Hallelujah….For the Lord God Omnipotent reignth. Hallelujah…The
kingdom of this world is become the Kingdom of our Lord and of
Christ and He shall reign forever. Hallelujah…. King of kings and
Lord of lords, He shall reign forever. Hallelujah.”
There were several booths, displaying very interesting things of
their missions’ activities showing their statistic together with
excellent photos pitched by vinyl. These booths are Myanmar Union
Adventist Seminary(MUAS), Myanmar Frontier Missions(MFM) & Religious
Study Center(RSC), Upper Myanmar Mission(UMM),Yangon Attached
District Mission (YAD), Central Myanmar Mission(CMM), Myanmar Union
Mission(MYUM), Kingsaung Press, Ayeyawady Mission(AYM). For me the
most interesting booth was the MYUM, displaying and showing how the
gospel could able reach through the latest internet systems.
The MFM 12 delegates were attended. They included U Tun Gyi, U Phong
Myint, and the pioneers from different places of our projects. At
MFM booth, we displayed a brief record with photos that showing on
vinyl. The essence introducing of world religion handbook published
by the MFM was best selling. Three responded the challenge of our
organization to be frontier pioneers and they are Nant Moreen, Nant
Nu Nu Tin, Nan Lwe Lwe Naing.
At the afternoon a very interesting program of testimonies from some
who encounter with Jesus Christ such as Daw Nan Saw Shin, Saw See
Mo, Naw Eh Nay Paw, Mary San, U Phong Myint. Yes, the powerful
testimonies what I feel so crying in bottom of my heart together
with them.
The program was going on. There are horning for 35 persons of 50th
birthday anniversary. On Sabbath afternoon after divine service
there are 63 baptized. Horning program for aged 70 and above for 50
persons. The church granted a highest honoring for 12 pastoral
ordination candidates. There are 200 couples marriage enrichment.
There are competitions concerning--- memorizing scripture text,
health dialogue base on the theme---Tell the World: the church as a
community health center, choirs, quartet, trio.
The final announcement for the attendance was more than three
thousands people. There are many stayed outside the compound without
having registration. In March 30 afternoon every body enjoys for the
excursion trip to the beautiful monuments places of the town and at
that last night for the close of the meeting was presented by the
program of talent show.
After the convention was over U Phone Myint and I visited some of
our mission projects such ---Sagaing, Meiktila, and Yamethin. Any
reason may not prohibit nor hindrance God’s commission what we do
have accepted from above. Even a great suffer situation that we’ve
facing much in our country we are very much enjoy serving the Lord.
Praise the Almighty God!
Please keep praying our ministry in your daily devotion. Thank you
very much.
May God bless you all!
